The only real source of sustainable competitive advantage for an organization is the power of its people. We have A Buddy Scheme, which helps us to assimilate the new inductee in the organization.
Human Touch is the basic mantra for employee motivation and satisfaction on various issues. We are in constant touch with employees through One-to-Ones, Skips, Open Houses and Quarterly Magazines. HeroITES also organizes team building exercises and events to promote cohesiveness in the work environment. Open Houses provide a communication channel for interacting with the senior management, as employees bring up their concerns and suggestions at these forums. This goes a long way in building an open and healthy work environment. HR spends at least 30 minutes with each employee every quarter. All Indian and US festivals are celebrated to provide what people lose out socially.
Whatever initiatives we take we try to make our values stronger. Focused on 'you', our progressive HR practices include an employee referral scheme, which brings in one-third of our employees. Birthday celebrations, employee get-togethers and parties are a way of life at HeroITES. There is an HR representative program to ensure extended reach of HR on the floor. Providing part-time employment opportunities and long service award letters to the members of the family are common HR practices at HeroITES. In addition, we have personal counsellors/psychologists. We also have doctors for immediate medical assistance which might be required during the course of the day.
We strongly feel that we have societal responsibilities as well and, therefore, have a dedicated team
Drishti, which works on different initiatives to bring smile on the faces of the under privileged. In collaboration with reputed NGO’s, we try and help the society at large through activities like blood donation camps, helping orphanages, spending time in old age homes and teaching slum children.
